The Layout
One of the most exciting things about Seabrook Beach House is how it can be customised to suit your needs.
Your options include:
The Front House
A four bedroom, two bathroom, pavilion style home with a large pool and inground spa as well as a large patio and garden area.
The Back House
A two bedroom, two bathroom home with a small plunge pool and separate alfresco dining area. This is separated from the front house by a locked door and corridor to keep it private.
The Whole house
When the separating door is unlocked the two houses become one six bedroom, four bathroom home with two swimming pools, two kitchens, two BBQ areas and a large undercover outdoor area perfect for entertaining. The ideal space for a group of up to 14 guests.
Location
Located in quiet Seabrook Avenue, Port Douglas, Seabrook Beach House is just a two minute walk from beautiful 4 Mile Beach as well as restaurants, a morning coffee shop and a takeaway bar. A five minute drive will take you to the centre of Port Douglas township. You can even catch a shuttle bus into town for a few dollars each way. A park is within walking distance with children’s play equipment, large grass areas and BBQ facilities right next to the beach. If you enjoy a walk/hike, there are several walking trails nearby to explore.
Port Douglas has a wide array of dining options from casual takeaway bars to modern fine dining and everything in between.
Want to explore further afield? Most tour companies offer local pickup from the Ramada by Wyndham (5 minute walk) or if you have a vehicle, there are many fantastic day trips to make to Mossman Gorge, the Atherton Tablelands, Palm Cove or the wider Cairns Region.
Need to hire a car? We have two cars that you can hire for use during your stay – a Mitsubishi SUV or a Hyundai Getz.
Getting here
Port Douglas is located approximately 1 hours drive from Cairns Airport.
We can organise a priority airport transfer service to collect you from the airport and take you to the house and then return you to the airport at the end of your stay if required.
Alternatively, if you are driving yourself, you’ll receive clear instructions on how to get here with your booking confirmation.
The Front House
You will fall in love with the front house.
Katie has taken the utmost care to ensure that this house is not only beautiful but comfortable too. You won’t have to worry about breaking expensive décor or feeling out of place – this was designed to feel like your home away from home.
With the pavilion style layout, each of the four bedrooms opens onto the shared patio/garden/pool area that is so inviting, you won’t want to leave.
A fully equipped kitchen is perfect to prepare meals and snacks in if you don’t feel like dining out. All bedrooms have split system air conditioning and ceiling fans to keep you cool in the FNQ heat. Bedroom layouts are:
Bedroom 1
One queen bed or two single beds.
Bedroom 2
One queen bed.
Bedroom 3
One King bed. Ensuite bathroom.
Bedroom 4
One King bed or two single beds and two single bunk beds.
The Back House
With it's own entrance and separated by a gallery with two locked doors, the back house is quietly tucked away but surprisingly spacious.
Keeping with the stylish comfort theme, the back house has multiple areas for you to kick back and relax. Keep an eye on the kids from the comfy outdoor seating area overlooking the well-lit plunge pool. Step out from the fully equipped kitchen into the outdoor courtyard/BBQ dining area surrounded by lush gardens. All bedrooms have split system air conditioning and ceiling fans to keep you cool in the FNQ heat. Bedroom layouts are:
Bedroom 1
One queen bed or two single beds. Private ensuite bathroom.
Bedroom 2
One queen bed or two single beds.
The Whole House
Why stop with two or four bedrooms when you can have all six?
When you book the whole of Seabrook Beach House, the doors are unlocked with so much more space to sprawl out and relax in. There might be up to 14 guests but you’ll never feel like you are crowded with so many separate spots to park yourself in.
The whole house gives excellent value for money and with an extra couple of rooms, you can invite some friends to share the cost!
The large patio/deck area near the pool provides a large space for yoga/pilates, presentations, group dinners or whatever else you can think of. This is why it is an ideal location for retreats and corporate getaways.
